He was the worst she ever had, so why can’t she get him out of her head?
Francisca Rivera— call her Frannie, please— says what she means and takes what she wants. Six months ago, all it took was one look at James, the gorgeous, bearded man pouring drinks at her favorite bar, and she had to have him in her bed.
To say she had been disappointed would be the biggest understatement in the history of all understatements. James was a no good, very bad lay.
But there is just something about James’ quiet, steady manner and the way he’s always watching her at the bar— like she’s something special— that keeps her wanting.
Frannie is wild and free with an aversion to relationships. James is soft-spoken and shy with a tendency to be reclusive. Can two opposites meet somewhere in the middle and take a second chance at their first time?
“This author has written a truly beautiful story, which is sweet, humorous and entertaining, and I was totally captivated throughout.”-Wendy, Goodreads reviewer
“Julia Wolf once again swept me off my feet in this adorably, sweet, and beautiful story. She makes me laugh, sigh, squeeze my thighs together, and swoon. All in one chapter. I’m so in love with this world and I truly never want to leave it. I can’t wait for more from this author and this world!” -Julia at Red Hatter Book Blog
“I fell in love with these characters and their story. What I love most about this entire series is the characters are all very relatable. Julia Wolf has a way of not just writing, but allowing you to easily visualize what is going…she draws you in to the story. I want to go to Bar Royal and hangout with everyone!”-Heather, Goodreads reviewer
Frannie is a great heroine in
Cut Loose because she isn’t your average girl searching for love and hearts and happily ever after
. She takes what she wants–mostly satisfaction–and moves on.
Never looking back.
Except for the sexy guy behind the bar at her favorite watering hole, she can’t help looking back at him, even if their one night together was the worst sex of her life. Ouch!
What I liked best about
Cut Loose is that it is a fairly straight up love story. There isn’t a lot of extra drama with exes and deep dark secrets, but there is one or two, and it’s kind of a ‘what you see is what you get’ romance and I dug that about it.
Julia Wolf created a fun romantic read that does get pretty steamy at times, which I LOVED! There was romance, tenderness, improving confidence and a wonderful love story that had me smiling when I reached the end.
“Julia lives in Maryland with her patient husband and three crazy beautiful kids. When she’s not writing, momming, or watching Real Housewives, she’s reading a book. Julia’s a lover of all things romance. From sweet, to funny, to steamy, to so dirty you’ll blushing for days, she reads (and writes!) it all.”
