Love … who has time for that?
Kennedy Hewson is absorbed with work. She hasn’t had a vacation in forever. Thanks to a streak of record sales, she’s been able to purchase a spectacular high-rise condo in downtown Chicago and acquire a boutique-sized collection of fabulous high heels.
While on location for work, and quite unexpectedly, Kennedy finds serenity with an unexpected person in an unexpected place, Credence Woods. Can she give up everything she’s worked so hard for, or will she say goodbye to Tennessee and the stranger who made her feel a sense of ‘home’ for the very first time?
Sometimes, you don’t know you’re missing something until you find it.
is a story about an insecure workaholic who finds love and acceptance in the least obvious of places and with the least likeliest person of all. Kennedy may have done a lot to fix her outer appearance, particularly with weight loss surgery, but her new body didn’t come with a side of confidence.
When work sends her to Credence Woods she finds the one thing she couldn’t anticipate. Max. He challenged her notions of control at every turn and it was a delight to watch the transformation. Unfortunately the more he opened her up, the more she second-guessed…well, everything.
Despite her insecurities and the challenges of the relationship, Credence Woods
had moments of humor that just made this a fun love story to read.
Alexandria Sure is from Michigan and adores her supportive family, her two rescue pups, and her mighty Spartans. Her coffee obsession leads her to writing in local coffee shops where characters come alive between salted caramel lattes and large cups of “cold brew extra cream two Splenda,” which are usually on the counter when she walks in because the baristas know her car. (Thanks, Biggby!)
When she is not writing, she spends a great deal of her time perfecting her craft. She is an active member of Capital City Writers Association and attends several writing conferences each year.
Sure’s first novel, Before Him Comes Me, is an unconventional romance of self-discovery, described by readers as “the first BDSM book with no sex.”
