What can I say? The Single Dads of San Camanez is off to an awesome start. Hot brothers who are also sexy single dads with some of the most precocious kids around…sign me up! There’s an island with quirky traditions and a brewery/brewpub…let the fun begin!

This story is Clint & Brooke. He’s a single dad and a widower and she’s the most famous woman in the country. Clint is out on the beach to clear his head as an important anniversary lands hard. But instead of peace and quiet he finds a woman face down and half in the water, and he does what any good romance hero would…he saves her!

And so this story begins. Clint literally and figuratively rescues Brooke. Once she wakes up the story really gets going because we learn that she didn’t jump like the Hollywood press is reporting, but she was pushed.

Rescued by the Single Dad is a fun small town romantic suspense story with two people who aren’t ready, who don’t think they’re worthy and we get to watch every step, every stumble and ALL the steam! I had a good time reading this story, trying to figure out who did it and how Clint and Brooke were going to get in their own way before the last page.

Also, it’s nice to finally get to see San Camanez beer since it’s made an appearance in quite a few Whitley Cox books!
