I was at a loss for how to start my review of Pivot Line. I was given a copy of False Start so I wouldn’t be starting in the dark, and I have to say both stories were compelling. There was a lot of suspense and intensity to keep you guessing, and the back and forth timeline gave the reader a clear view of what happened before we joined the story.
That being said, I didn’t connect with the story at all or the characters. I thought the writing was good and the story itself was compelling enough that I kept reading, but I didn’t feel it the way I hoped to. But I think fans of romantic suspense will find this duet story by Rebel Farris a very good read.
