Nash and Lina, what can I say? They both captivated me from the very start and it only grew as the story progressed.

She is a sassy insurance investigator with secrets of her own and he’s an injured small town Sheriff trying to find a reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other. They shouldn’t work, not on paper and not in real life.

But they do.

They totally effing do.

Things We Hide From The Light was a fantastic read that gave me ALL THE FEELS. I laughed out loud and maybe I swiped away a few tears and even put a hand to my heart like an old southern belle. It was a wild ride and I loved every single minute of it.

Did I mention the steam? The heat between Nash and Lina was out of this world hot and it was a super slow burn that was a long time coming. The excitement and fun and all the small town Knockemout characters made this story such a delight and I absolutely cannot wait until book 3 comes out.
