Well, damn. I wasn’t expecting this story when I said “Yes, pretty please let me read your new book!” But I am glad that I did!

Willa and Sawyer are…a lot. She’s his best friend’s little sister and one day, a million years ago he saved her life. You’d think that was what started this lifelong crush, but it’s not….really. This friends to lovers, marriage of protection/convenience romantic suspense was full of action, feelings and more.

As an adult, I often get frustrated when other adults simply refuse to communicate about important things, like how they feel about one another. Thankfully Harper knows what’s good and didn’t drag it out tooo soon. The local flair of Hatterwick Island was a nice touch, really giving me a lay of the land, and the suspense was a lot of fun because it kept me guessing.

This was a fun and thrilling ride and I look forward to the next story!
