A scorching workplace romance proves hazardous in this new stand-alone from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Brent.

Cora Brent was born in a cold climate and escaped as soon as it was legally possible. Now, she lives in the desert with her husband, two kids and a prickly pear cactus she has affectionately named ‘Spot’. Cora’s closet is filled with boxes of unfinished stories that date back her 1980’s childhood and all her life she has dreamed of being an author. Amazingly, she is now a New York Times and USA Today bestselling writer of contemporary romance and begs not to be awakened from this dream.

In Tell Me Now, we meet Madison as she’s trying to get over a sudden breakup that she didn’t see coming. She thought they were headed for a future together with picket fences, snotty noses and matching rings, but he didn’t think she was good enough.
Ouch.
Enter Bryce Hunter who tests her will and her determination to keep her heart protected. He pursues her relentlessly, and she is unable to resist his charm, his good looks and pretty much everything about him. And the more time they spend together, the more her feelings for him grew and she falls. Hard. Then, of course, a terrible secret comes to light that shatters what is left of her heart.
That’s Tell Me Now in a nutshell, but the story is so much more. First of all, their incredibly hot night together was super fun to read. Fake names and utter hotness was how this whole relationship kicks off and it sets a fun, fast-paced tone for the book.
I really enjoyed Madison and Bryce and they deserved their happy ending. S. Moose is a new to me author, but I mostly enjoyed this story. It wasn’t my favorite book of all time, but it was a fun few hours.

“I want her dead. Make it happen,” Avigad stated. His thick lips enveloped the rim of the fine china cup. Her death was not a suggestion. It was an order to be carried out without question. An assassination. I was a surgeon but his chosen assassin for this death. “I don’t care what method you employ. Get it done.”

Kyler is a romance that asks the questions, what if I’d asked her first? It’s a taboo subject, one that both men and women have hard and fast rules on. Breaking this rule can ruin friendships, relationships, lives.
What do you do when the girl who puts the fire in your veins belongs to someone else? Not just someone else, but your best friend? Because that’s what happens to Kyler. He watches his best friend Beau get the girl he wanted, Ashlynn, sitting on the sidelines and watching with an ache in his heart. But good guy that he is, Kyler never even considers doing anything inappropriate. Would never take his best friend’s girl.
Until said friend screws up ROYALLY!!!
What I liked about this story was the real life issues it deals with. People do fall in love with people society tells them they shouldn’t and all of us have to deal with it. For me, I was pretty much Team Kyler all the way, because of course Beau is written as kind of a jerk. I wish the author would have just made them incompatible because, let’s be honest, it’s easy to leave a jerk for any reason.
While Kyler and Ashlynn are good together, my only real complaint was that this all consuming love, this connection between them…well I never really felt it. But as usual, C.A. Harms has done a damn good job.

Rachel Loren Love of Reading – “I devoured this book!”
Lora – “The story flowed well and I found myself eager for more each time I had to stop for real-life.”
Zoe – “I absolutely adore this author and her style of writing and her book and I would recommend this book to anyone who love an epic love between two very beautiful souls.”
