Something So Unscripted is a story about two people–and an adorable little boy–who need each other but can’t seem to see it. NHL player Zack Morrow is on the move with his sick son after finding his wife in bed with another man. He heads east, to New York and a doctor who just might be able to save his litte boy’s life.
Dr. Denise Horton has a tough job. Healing kids ravaged by cancer means more wins than losses and she takes each one as hard as you’d expect. She’s not a melancholy character by any means, but a serious woman who appears closed off at first. But meeting Zack changes her in ways I don’t think even she was sure it happened. At first.
Natasha Madison crafted a fun, emotional story with plenty of characters to love. I loved Jack, the little boy. He was so full of life despite his illness and his disgustingly awful mom. I loved the way he and Denise connected, all three of them really. Like they were meant to be a little family.
Zack and Denise were so different, it was a wonder they ever got along at all. He grew up with loving parents who would do whatever they could to make sure he was safe and happy while she grew up neglected and abused. Forgotten. Denise had given up while Zack had finally decided to start thinking about his son and what was best for him. Even though I didn’t read the book before this one, I didn’t feel lost at all and I enjoyed many of the secondary characters.
Something So Unscripted really surprised me and in the best possible way.

I grew up alone and running in fear for my life. I never stay in one place for too long and I live my life looking over my shoulder. Not really living at all. All I want to do is find one place to stay and put down roots. I want to belong to something bigger, find love, and have the life I always wanted to have.
Rage
I tried love once and the only thing I got out of it was my beautiful daughter Kasey. I never wanted to be with anyone for more than someone to warm my bed. Especially after my friend was taken from us brutally. One meeting with Keegan and that’s all it took to make me realize that I was a goner.
Can Keegan’s past stay in the past, or will it come looking for her?

Erin Osborne’s Bio:
Growing up, She was an avid reader. She would read anything she could get my hands on. These days, As a single parent she reads as much as she can while raising of three children and writing.

I love the idea of being in love. Since my early teens when I first discovered Silhouette Desire novels my life has been all about reading. I would find myself re-writing scenes if I wasn’t happy with them and hiding them under my bed. That led me to writing love stories of my own. They all ended up under the bed and are still there, and there they will stay. I don’t do angst, in fact it drives me crazy.
I am a mum of three beautiful girls, Australian, and have what most say is a weird sense of humor.
I spend my free time doing movie, Sons of Anarchy, and Friends marathons. And reading.
I love Pina Colada’s and getting caught in the rain….. there’s that weird humor.

ABOUT:
A straight-laced single dad just may discover he has a sweet tooth . . .
Mike Simmons had it all—until his perfect wife turned his perfectly ordered life upside down by leaving him and their two children. Now Mike’s struggling with the chaos of juggling his career as a security consultant with being a divorced single dad. It’s no surprise he’s not entirely comfortable with the anatomically correct treats their new client, Getta Piece Bakery, offers. And he doesn’t mind letting the client know it.
Free-spirited and spunky, baker extraordinaire Georgie Walters is about as far from a soccer mom type as you can get. She owes a lot of her success to the bachelorettes who have a special appreciation for her creations. But as Mike stands in her tiny shop nervous, but clearly intrigued, Georgie has to admit the guy is beautiful when he’s wound up tight. In fact, she finds she can’t resist getting a rise out of him. When she hires him to take care of her security needs—she gets so much more in the bargain. Now, her challenge is to teach him to look beyond the candy coating to all the warmth she has inside . . .

Easy Bake Lovin’ is a fun story with two flawed people. Mike is a former serviceman with two adorable kids and a ton of baggage. Georgie is an erotic baker—yep you heard me—with a trust fund. Or she will have a trust fund in a few more months. For now she had to toe the family line, show up when she was needed to help them look like the political dynasty they wanted the world to see. I loved Georgie with her vibrant colored hair, her funky sense of fashion and her ability to make a big tough security like Mike, blush. She was fantastic.
Together, they were really good. Sure, there were times when I wanted to grab Mike by his solid shoulders and shake the hell out of him, but that’s because he is such a man. Sparing with the words and heavy on the actions.
I didn’t LOVE this story but I did have a good time with it. I’m glad that her family and his, didn’t get a chance to ruin their relationship or the story. I especially liked Georgie’s brother, who wasn’t nearly as awful as her mom, but her mom didn’t hold a candle to Mike’s sister. She was a trainwreck and a bitch.
Overall, Easy Bake Lovin’ was a fun read and I’d really enjoy reading the next story by Maggie Wells.

Dr. Mackenzie Daniels was a loner. He had the divorce, a far-away family, and well-known cranky persona to prove it. And if he had his way, he would continue on his loner way, in spite of the attempts of the townspeople to infiltrate his life with their irritating, so-called charming ways. That was…until he met the beautiful Nurse Millicent Robbins.
Millie Robbins had done the love and marriage thing, and all she could say was that she got a beautiful daughter out of the entire debacle. Love was not in her long-term plans when she graduated from nursing school, thank you very much….until she found herself falling head over heels for the grouchiest but most gorgeous doctor she’d ever met.
Can Mack and Millie find their way to love in spite of their histories? Can happiness actually exist for two star-crossed lovers?
