Billionaire Protector is a fun former friends to enemies to lovers romance featuring a reformed sort of criminal and the golden boy, veteran, secret billionaire. Sarah and Cole had a really fun meet-cute that I won’t ruin for you, but it really did set the stage for the rest of the story.

These two used to be friends, except the kind of friends where he looked down on her though he called it protective. As adults, they are forced to work together because well, she’s his boss, like it or not, and there’s an arsonist in town. While they work together in the small town to find him or her, they start to see each other in a different, grown up light.

Together they were fun and flirty and yeah, sometimes infuriating, but they were a really good time. I enjoyed Billionaire Protector a lot. It had just the right amount of bickering and steam for a quick, fun read.
