The night Xander Lee found himself half-drowned, flat on his back and looking up into the blue eyes of his savior, everything changed. Going from lost boy to hardcore biker overnight definitely had its advantages. But could a guy with no social skills and the burden of a guilt he couldn’t shed, ever really fit in? Called Coyote by his brothers and friends, he struggled to do his best, but falling in love with his president’s old lady might just be his fatal mistake. That mistake would see him banished to another coast, alone, afraid and expected to fail.
With the weight of a soul that ached constantly and an almost nonexistent sense of self, Coyote found enough of a spark inside him to get things started…and from there he would blaze a path that no one saw coming. Not just any man could take one brick and build an empire…but despite his own misgivings, Coyote Lee was no ordinary man. Even life at the top didn’t come without a heavy price however. The love/hate relationship he had with the man who gave him a second chance at life, lay at the core of almost everything he did. The secrets he kept to himself for so many years gnawed at his soul. The whiskey he tried to drown the pain with was never enough, and the women and children who loved him would only get a glimpse of who the man inside really was.
Could Coyote ever measure up to the late, great Doc Marshall? Or would he die trying? Take a ride with us through the Central Valley of California and across the all the hearts that Coyote touched in this life and decide for yourself, but hang on tight and be careful what you say and do…because someone is always watching!

I can’t get her out of my head.
I tried to forget about her. I tried to move on. But the longer we’re apart the more I realize forgetting Evelyn is just not an option for me.
What we shared—the passion, the connection—it still burns inside my soul, and no amount of time or distance can extinguish that. I want her back. I want her by my side, and I don’t give a shit about the risks or consequences.
I’m going to find her, and I’m going to make her realize that there’s just one place in this entire goddamn world she needs to be…and that’s with me.
Everyone in Fate, Texas knows that Bluebell Carter has always been a little bit crazy. There was that time she colored her hair pink and the time she keyed her boyfriend’s car not to mention how she up and left town and her daddy in the dust ten years ago. Rolling back home in an ugly orange bridesmaid dress was not the reappearance she’d ever planned to make and staying in town was the last thing she ever thought possible. Then again, being in Texas does crazy things to her brain (maybe it’s the heat?) because before she can say “bless your heart” she finds herself tangled up with a handsome, hard-muscled cowboy.
Zach West earned his hard body the old fashioned way – lots of hard work on hard Texas land. He’s spent his life playing the role of responsible West brother, the oldest, the protector and guardian. His father’s death left him to care for two younger brothers, a grieving mother and a ranch. He’s had enough of caring for other people to last a lifetime and zero plans to add a woman to that list but Bluebell has a way of driving him nuts that’s impossible to resist. He dreams about her long blonde hair and even longer legs. She’s pretty enough to drive a man to drink, to sin… but to love? Now that’s just crazy.
Okay let me just start by saying that I LOVED Crazy Little Thing Called Love. A lot. I read a ton of books and I like a lot of them but this was fun and sweet, hot and heartbreaking. It’s what a romance novel should be.
Blue was incredible. Doing her own thing even while she battled feelings of abandonment and being unloveable. She was strong and brave, not letting her issues get in her way. Mostly. And Zach, sweet baby J he was all MAN. I loved him from the first scene and that never let up, which is rare because I’m usually Team Heroine.
The chemistry between Blue and Zach was off the chart and not just the sexual chemistry. When they were together, bantering and bickering, I smiled as I read those scenes and now I’m jogging my memory to see if I’ve read anything else by Jess Bryant because I really enjoyed reading Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
Is there a Riley & Maddie story in the making or…??
