ABOUT:

Cottonbloom is the perfect place for starting over, finding your way back home—and falling head over heels. . .

Ella Boudreaux has a lot to prove to her family, friends, and foes—and to herself. So when her marriage ends she decides to invest her energy and money into a place that brings back some of Ella’s happiest memories: the Abbott brothers’ garage. Maybe, if she puts her mind to it, she can teach skeptical, stubborn Mack Abbott how to make the business a true success. Which would be a lot easier if the hunky mechanic didn’t make her motor run quite so fast…and hot.

Mack was furious when his brother, Ford, sold his share of the business. He’s in no rush to team up with a wealthy divorcée who shows up to the garage in stilettos—and the longest, sexiest legs he’s seen in forever. But Ella’s grit and determination won’t quit…and soon Mack can see that she’s been down a few rough roads herself. Neither Mack nor Ella can deny the fierce attraction that’s revving up between them. Could it be that true love has been in the backseat all along…and they’ve finally found the key?

As I started reading Set the Night on Fire I wasn’t sure what I was in for, but the synopsis sounded like a pretty hot enemies to lovers story so I pushed through the first chapter and that’s when things got good.

Really good.

Mila

Pregnant and married at the young age of eighteen, I settled into my life not knowing there could ever be more.

Until Mason, with his cocky smirk and magnetic baby blue eyes. With a single look and a few words, he made me feel sexy and alive. But as quickly as he came into my life, he was gone, leaving me wanting more.

A few days later my mom died, and her final words of advice—life’s too short to settle—are what I vowed to live my life by. Not even a year after her death, I was divorced and ready to find the one.

Only I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to find someone who could make me feel the way Mason did. Five years later, and I’m still single, looking for my forever.

Mason

I’m the guy who fights and f*cks. The guy who goes fishing but never keeps what he catches. The responsibility that comes with commitment isn’t for me.

SYNOPSIS:

Jack

In my world as a cop, things were either black or white. Right or wrong. Then Bailey arrived, challenging all my principles. She had a mouth on her, the level of sass matching the exaggerated swing of her hips. I couldn’t get her out of my head, even knowing she wasn’t right for me. I tried to stay away, I really did. But once I had a taste, I kept coming back for more. Something didn’t add up though, and I would figure it out even if it ultimately meant we couldn’t be together.

Bailey

The only thing sexier than his dimple was the set of handcuffs the hottie detective threatened to use on me. If only he’d give me a chance to show him I was more than the tough-girl exterior I’d carefully crafted over the years. Oh yeah, and if I wasn’t engaged in criminal activity that would land me in handcuffs…and not in a sexy way. More like an orange jumpsuit way, and I can tell you now, no way in hell would I be caught dead in an ugly jumpsuit.

No matter which way this thing ends, I’ll be in handcuffs. The question is, will Jack join me in the grey area? Or will I have to do the impossible and admit I was wrong?

ABOUT:

Delaney Newell knows what it means to be powerless. Against the family who wouldn’t support her. Against the man she loved who betrayed her. Against the gossips who won’t let her forget it. But after years of struggling, she’s finally getting her life together.

Sean Murphy has spent years fighting forest fires. The former hotshot turned forester knows the growth that can sprout from unfathomable destruction. That’s what he sees in Delaney—someone who got leveled by life but didn’t stop growing. He’s spent the past several months watching the shy red-head blossom, and he really likes what he sees.

When Delaney is accused of a crime she didn’t commit, everyone is willing to believe the worst of her. Everyone except Sean. The woman he knows couldn’t possibly be behind the rash of fires that are keeping the volunteer fire department hopping. Someone is deliberately framing her. Will Delaney trust him enough to help her find the real culprit?

I am always glad for a trip back to Wishful. Over the years Kait Nolan has always made sure I had a good time, a few tears and some knee-shaking swooning. This time though in Can’t Stand The Rain, we got something a little edgier dealing with issues that make you take a second look at some of Wishful’s kind townsfolk.

Delaney was put through the wringer thanks to a scumbag ex. She lost her family and the support of her town but she persevered and held her head up high which instantly made me like her and root for her. She was strong through it all, when some of us (me) would have just blown up at Gina and given her what she had coming…again!

And Sean, well he is an absolutely perfect book boyfriend. He is kind and understanding and he doesn’t hold back the truth even when he knows it might not be what Delaney wanted to hear. Together Delaney & Sean’s was an interesting story to read. I had a good time as I usually do in Wishful and I look forward to the next one!

ABOUT:

Exhausted by the futility of her efforts against the city’s endemic problems and the revolving door of violence in her Chicago emergency room, Dr. Miranda Campbell came home to Wishful, where she knew she could make a real difference in people’s lives. Between her clinic, a rotation in the hospital’s ER, volunteer work at the new women’s shelter, and time spent with family and friends, her life is full. But it’s not too full to notice a sexy lawman when she sees one.

Former US Marshal Ethan Greer is still settling into the job as Wishful’s new Chief of Police, but he’s starting to realize it may be years before he’ll ever be considered one of the locals. Fair enough. He’s the first to admit that making the shift to small town policing is a big adjustment. After losing his marriage and almost his life in line of duty, the slow pace of Wishful is a change he’s happy to make.

While Miranda’s and Ethan interest in each other is mutual, he’s not sure about taking on a serious relationship. That’s just fine with her. But when Miranda is targeted in an escalating chain of threatening events, Ethan’s Marshal instincts go on overdrive. Miranda’s rose-colored view of Wishful is putting her in danger. She’s become more than a casual fling or a job responsibility. With Ethan’s training screaming at him to put her in protective custody, can he find out who’s behind the threats before he pushes Miranda away?

From New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting comes I Flipping Love You, a love story about flipping houses, taking risks, and landing that special someone who’s move-in ready.

Rian Sutter doesn’t usually get hit on in the grocery store, but when she notices a sexy man in a suit checking her out, she thinks maybe it’s her lucky day. Either that or the suit has a thing for sweaty, yoga-pant wearing women with excellent price matching skills.

Turns out it’s neither.

Pierce Whitfield can’t believe his luck when he’s able to track down the woman who scratched up the paint job on his car at the scene of the crime. But when he confronts the hit and run hottie, he discovers there’s not just one, but two of them, and he’s been throwing accusations at the wrong twin.

As repair costs are negotiated, and the chemistry between them flares, Rian and Pierce find out they have more than mutual attraction in common. They’re both vying for the same pieces of prime real estate in The Hamptons and neither one plans to give up without a fight.
