As you all know the life of an indie author is…never ending. In addition to my “day job” which also consists of writing all day, and then turning around to weave happily ever after stories into the wee hours of the morning is exhausting and incredible. When a new book comes out, there are tons of things you as an author must do to promote the book. Interviews are one thing, but the good thing about these interviews is that they don’t ask you stupid questions like “what’s your biggest weakness?”

COVER REVEAL ~ Feels Like Love (Mustang Prairie Book 3)
I’m so excited that the time has come to show you the cover of Feels Like Love. This book has been a labor of love for me, because Sadie & Dylan’s story touched me. Life got in the way so it took a bit more time to get it finished.
But…it’s being edited as we speak with a tentative publish date of 14-January!
That’s the good news. The great news is that I LOVE this cover and I think you’ll find Sadie & Dylan’s story one that will touch you deeply. I listened to a lot of music writing this story, a lot of Adele, Nina Simone, Fiona Apple and Odetta so you should get a pretty good idea of Sadie’s voice! Romance Author of the Year ~ 2015
Every night when all my so called ‘real’ work is done and all my client’s files are saved, I load up whatever story I’m working on and get lost in another world. For most of 2016 that world has been Mustang Prairie. Shellie and Alex have had their stories and very soon Sadie’s will be ready for public consumption. It’s such a solitary process for the most part and by the time other people get involved, the book is done and you just have to bite your nails and drink martinis while you hope for the best.
What’s my point? Well that’s simple, it’s nice to know that readers and bloggers are consuming my words, loving them and getting lost in them. As a new author it can be hard to gauge how well you’re doing other than sales and reviews, which are awesome metrics, by the way. But when a blogger you love and respect says “hey you’re an awesome writer” very little feels better than that. Continue reading Romance Author of the Year ~ 2015
