A.BookNerd.Bookseller&Bibliophile.Blog – “To Fall For Winter was such an amazing story…..two people who haven’t had to best of luck…..but that’s about to change…..luck of the Irish 🍀 is on their side.”

Michelle – “I just love Kelsey’s style of writing and her story mind.”

Bookish Aurora – “Snow and Ryan’s story was a beautiful sweet story about love between two people who needed it and deserved it after all they had been through.”

“You think I’m ready to ruin you forever?”
“Oh, Ireland… You’ve already ruined me forever.”

I’ve been called the Black Sheep. Troublemaker. And probably a dozen other words that are nowhere near that nice. My past is checkered. Full of questionable choices and even worse outcomes. But I’ve put it behind me. I’m on the straight and narrow now.

For two years, I’ve towed the line. Stayed out of trouble. Kept my head above water. And have not made even one reckless decision.

But then Snow came to River Canyon on the first day of winter.

Inked, pierced, and unafraid of speaking her mind, and going after what she wants, she made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. Together, I knew we would make a mess.

I just couldn’t keep myself from getting dirty.

Kelsey Kingsley lives in New York with her family and a cat named Ethel.

She believes there is nothing better than a good doughnut and a cup of tea, and that there is a song for everything.

RELEASE PACKAGE ~ Claiming Zoey by JB Baker

Title: Claiming Zoey
Author: J.B. Baker
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 12, 2018
This should be easy.

Fly into my hometown Fall Creek, attend the party my grandfather was invited to,

Then fly back to my hunting ground, New York!

Well at least I thought it would be that easy.

That is until I see her,

Zoey Brooks

She wasn’t expecting to see me either.

The once annoying teenager has turned into a full woman.

Curves, Hips, Toned Body and Venetian blonde hair.

A few years ago I didn’t even set eyes on her.

I was heartbroken by her sister, and well now

The mere sight of her makes my inner beast growl, yet she’s having nothing to do with my macho ways.

That is until we kiss

I need to make this goddess of a woman mine.

Claiming Zoey soon becomes my only sultry sin!

He was so cool and confident, but at the same time, he was so unbearably obnoxious. The way he blatantly tried to hit on me was so full on, and it did not suit him at all. I am still having trouble believing that that shit works on women in New York or wherever else he lives. Do women like that kind of stuff in big cities? “Hey, let’s get outta here and go to New York on my jet; I’ll take ya out for a steak dinner. This party is so lame.”

I prance about in imitation of the great Noah Dickhead Jackson. I pull a few more of his signature dick ass lines as I dance around the living room, inducing Kaylee and Savannah into hysterical frenzies of laughter.

“Come on, guys! Who behaves like that? We certainly don’t have any people like that here in Fall Creek – thank God,” I say, picking up a plate and stacking it on some others nearby. Savannah, Kaylee and I are cleaning up after the party. My parents have already gone off to bed. The girls and I are sharing a bottle of sparkling wine while we do the final chores of the day.

“You have all the luck, Zoey. First, you have DJ Zac trying to win back your heart with romantic invitations to your place of work where you should cook him his dinner – ‘that’d be like so romantic, Honey-buns’…” We all laugh at that. “And now, you have this New York wanna be big shot guy going all ape on you. I am sorry. I guess I hoped that he was more like Hunter,” says Kaylee.

“It’s okay. You couldn’t have known what kind of man he has become;” I say.

Yet, no matter how much I try to badmouth him in my mind or out loud, I can’t help but feel drawn to Noah. How that is even possible is beyond me. But there is something about Noah Jackson that intrigues me and makes me want to break all the rules. It somehow makes me want to do what he tells me to do, and that is so not like me. The only people who can partly tell me what to do are my girls, Kaylee and Savannah, and that’s like once every half-year – and my parents every lunar eclipse.

I really got the chance to study him while I sang. His cool, cocky manner and the way his sexy light brown waves of hair tumbled down his neck in a mess, that for me was perfection, enchanted me. For once, his mouth was shut, and I could focus all of my attention on his face.

It was kind – gone was the supercilious veneer he displayed during our chat. It was impossible to make out that spark of warmth and kindness at first because of all of the conceited bullshit he spewed from his mouth when he spoke. Along with the melody of my song, Noah was no longer Noah Dickhead Jackson but Noah Prince Jackson. He had looked at me as if he was in awe of me. I felt so special under his caressing gaze that lifted me up and made my voice more powerful than ever before. I frown. I am certain something is there between us; but what?

“You call the guy a wanna be big shot…I don’t think so. I would’ve taken him up on his offer for a steak dinner in a heartbeat…take a look at this – the man’s a billionaire and a superstar,” says Savannah, holding out her smartphone with a trembling arm.

“Holly shit…is that…” Kaylee’s voice veers off into silence as her eyes fix onto the device’s screen.

“Yep, that’s Noah Jackson,” says Savannah as if she is his best friend. “Pretty cool, huh?”

“That can’t be him with Beyoncé?” I blurt, nearly dropping a plate I just picked up. “It says here that he hosted a party for her and Jay Z at his New York penthouse. Who is this man?”

“He’s a music producer…” This time it’s Kylee reading the accompanying text to the article on the screen.

I gulp. I almost feel my heart drop a hundred feet in free fall. Noah Dickhead Jackson is a music producer. James Jackson you crafty old bastard. Now, I know why you said you had connections in the business. How was I to know that your grandson is…what does it say here…Noah Jackson, the owner of Butterbeat Records, will soon become a self-made billionaire. If the performance of his artists continues, the orphan record mogul will soon hit the billionaire jackpot.

“Billionaire,” spits Kaylee.

“Billionaire,” exhales Savannah. “This is incredible,” she turns to me with one of her archetypical mock serious expressions on her face, “next time that man asks you out on a steak dinner date, you damn well go. You have sex with him, and you offer him your body in order for him to plant his seed inside you. You make babies with this man, you hear. And after that, you think of me, your dear sweet friend Savannah, and hook me up with one of his acquaintances…you got that?”

This is too much. Kaylee and I burst out laughing. “Where do you get that shit from, Savannah? So that he can plant his seed – that’s hilarious,” I say between whistling teeth.

Savannah is deadly serious. “If you think that’s impressive, look here,” she continues, almost ramming her phone in my face.

“Oh, come on, Brad Pitt…really!” scream both my sister and I.

“Yep, and all of these other people here too…” Savannah’s fingers act like those belonging to an expert secretary as they skim over the screen in quick-fire fashion. The information available on Noah is endless.

My gaze remains glued to the phone as Savannah accesses various photographs of Noah on the web. It’s the who’s who of Hollywood, the music industry and politics. I swear there is even one with Noah and the president of the United States. It’s incredible to see a fellow native of Fall Creek to have come so far. Despite his earlier conceitedness, I feel my chest swell up with pride as if I was the one on all of the photographs.

A loud whoosh of air escapes my mouth. Argh, I should’ve known. It feels as if my heart stopped beating and I am about to die. I am gawking at one of the sexiest women there is. She stares back at me smugly from the screen on Savannah’s smartphone.

And that’s where it begins, my little tour of ‘Noah’s girlfriends’ past.’ Yay, I love the Internet and mobile technology. Thanks to it, I know exactly what Noah’s last ten dates looked like. I am also able to ascertain how many women he’s fucked, when and where and exactly what they wore before he undressed them. Sometimes I wish I were born in a different age – modern technology sometimes tells us things we really don’t want to know.

Obviously, the women he was involved with were all hot as hell. That was to be expected. But not one of them had any resemblance to the other. I have often heard that men usually have a target group or a type of woman they prefer – like maybe blondes or brunettes or women with a motherly disposition or maybe girly types or the educated kind. Not Noah. He just likes women – all of them. It seems to me that if she has an opening between her legs and looks like a superstar, he is in there with his gun blazing.

RELEASE TOUR! ~ Dirty Blue by N.E. Henderson

Series: Dirty Justice Trilogy
Author: N.E. Henderson

Genre: Romance – Contemporary | New Adult | Suspense

D R A G O A C E R B I

I’ve known his name a long time. You’d have to live under a rock not to know of the heartless and cruel reputation the Acerbi family has established. They are monsters cloaked in suits and ties, or so my colleagues in blue have said. Being on the job, you quickly learn to watch your back, trust no one, and as much as I hate to admit this, sometimes that includes a fellow badge.
But to want to kill your own child for being born? Now that’s monstrous. Unjust. And something I will not stand for. I’ll take him down before I allow an innocent to be harmed.
Even if that means not only taking on the most dangerous family in Southern California but bringing down the drug lord they’re in bed with too.

Excerpt from Chapter 9

“If you’re here to nag me, please leave. I’m not dealing with your cop shit today.”
“Why not? I would think the sooner you answer my questions, show me anything I want to see, be honest with me, the sooner I’ll be out of your hair. I’d have thought that would be something you would want. Don’t you want to prove your innocence?”
“You don’t have shit on me and we both know it. If you did, I’d be in handcuffs, but I’m not, am I?” It’s not a question he wants a response to and he doesn’t stop to let me give one even if I wanted to. “You think I’m dirty, your boss thinks I am, so what? I don’t give a shit, Bri. You’re not going to find anything because there is nothing to find.”
“I don’t think you’re dirty,” I defend myself, quicker than I realize what’s coming out of my mouth. Sure, it’s my job to find the evidence if it exists, but my gut has known from the day I met him he wasn’t dirty. And I don’t think he’s a drug smuggler. I do think he’s keeping something a secret, but I don’t think that’s it. Something isn’t right about this case. I’ve felt that since my interview with Gabriel’s mother.
“Then why are you here if it isn’t to dig up something you think I’m dirty of doing?”
I move, taking a step into the room, getting closer to him and not for a professional reason. His remark hit something inside me and not in a good way.
“D,” I sigh, taking another step. “This is my job. A case that involves you was assigned to me. My job is to determine if there is any validation to the accusation against you. I am going to be thorough in this investigation whether you like it or not.” I tap my index finger on his desk to drive my point home. “But at no point”—my own anger starts to seep out of my voice—“did I ever give you the impression I thought you were dirty.”
I’m getting mad and I’ve never shown emotions or lost my composure on the job before. The fact that I am now, with him, is only agitating me.
His dark eyes cut away from me, but I see the moment his temper takes a step back. After another second, he looks down.
“The first day we met, you told me you thought I had an illegal business relationship with Diaz.” His eyes glide up. “Are you saying that’s changed? You no longer think I’m in bed with the Mexican Devil?”
This is what I didn’t need. The lines between us are more blurred than I thought.
He’s right; I did say that. It was a tactic I often use. A tactic I wanted to work on him, but it didn’t.
My knee touches one of his, startling the both of us. I didn’t even realize I’d moved this close. I’m too close and I shouldn’t be in his personal space. I know better, yet I’m not taking a step away.
“I’ve heard a lot of things about your family, mostly of your father through others on the force, but I never believe anything as truth until it’s proven. Until I see it for myself.” I place my palm on his shoulder. “The first day we met, something told me you weren’t bad, or dirty, as you said. I don’t judge without knowledge, without the truth, Drago. And right now, for some unknown reason, I don’t believe you’re guilty of all the accusations that have been made.”
The next thing I know, I’m in his arms and he’s out of his chair, standing. In a quick move, I’m placed down on his desk, on top of sheets of paper while his lips come down onto mine in such a soft manner it contradicts the aggressive way he just handled me.
I smile against his mouth, not able to hold my form to his. I like this way too much. Who knew rough and gentle could go together so well?
Still . . . This can’t happen. Again.
I go to put my hands on his chest to push him away, but he anticipates my action, quickly pushing them down. Drago then leans in closer to me, pushing my chest backward, making me strain to stay upright. His hand comes down on my dress pants, parting my thighs where it eats up the remaining space between us.
“Dra . . .” I try to say his name between our lips, but it comes out more like a moan when his other hand goes inside my suit jacket, cupping my waist.
Shit. I do not have a handle on this at all.
“D,” I finally get out, pulling away from him and successfully getting my hands on his chest, but when I push, he barely moves. Instead, he has my wrist in his hand, quickly pinning it to my back and holding me from falling at the same time. Next, my other wrist is in the hand that leaves my waist and before I know it, it’s also behind my back. A second later, my eyes widen at the realization that he’s cuffed me—with my own fucking handcuffs that were stashed between my back, clipped over my pants.
How the hell did he do that?
“What the fuck?”

“Holy smokes! What the h*** did I just read?!?!? This book WOW!!!” Karrie, Panty Dropping Book Blog

“It’s you.” I stand up from my chair and do a full perusal of Lilah’s body. My eyes dart down to her belly…her pregnant belly. I meet her eyes, expecting to see anger because of how I left her that night, but instead I see a flicker of something subtle before her face goes blank. “How are you?”

The muscle in her jaw ticks as she walks around me to the table and sets the folder down. “Mr. Meyers, I’m Delilah Mackenzie, the office manager. I need you to fill out these forms and then return them to the basket outside of my office. I’ll also need a copy of your insurance card, private investigator’s license, and driver’s license. Carrie can help you with that. Any questions?” She rests one hand on her belly and the other on her hip.
I don’t remember her being this sexy, but I can’t think of that now. “Is that…my baby?” Sweat dots my forehead and my pulse races. Throw me into a war zone and I’m cool, calm, and collected, but waiting to find out if I’m her baby’s father has me ready to freak out.Lilah—no, Delilah—looks at me with fire in her eyes. “No, it’s my baby.” She’s out of the conference room, slamming the door behind her faster than I can say, “boo.”

I slowly lower myself into the chair and rest my head in my hands. It’s my baby, I know it is. The timing is just right for when we slept together. That had been the most fun I’d had in a long time— the sex was phenomenal, and yeah, I knew she wasn’t that experienced, but I hadn’t had a clue how young she really was until I woke with her curled up against me. She just looked really young—too young for me once I came to my senses.

BOOK TOUR!!! ~ Dirty by R.L. Kenderson (Excerpt & Review INSIDE!)

Title: Dirty
Series: Naughty Series
Author: R.L. Kenderson
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: July 1, 2017

After returning home due to her father’s illness, Elise Phillips reunites with her college friends, including Luke Long. Luke was a player back then, and Elise had always prided herself on not being another notch on his bedpost.Luke is still gorgeous though, and he knows it. And he checks all her boxes—intelligent and sexy with muscles and a hard body.

Following a night of beer and shots, her resistance runs out, and he finally does check her box. And Elise knows that it can never happen again.

Luke had always thought of Elise as the pretty girl that was friends with his roommate’s girlfriend, but now she’s all grown up. When their night of passion rocks Luke’s world he realizes he must have her again.

The two enter a friends-with-benefits relationship with the agreement that they’re just going to have fun. The only thing is, with mutual friends involved, they have to hide their indiscretion.

But what harm can come from a dirty little secret?

Dirty is the story of Elise and Luke. Back in college Elise promised herself that she would NEVER become a notch on Luke Long’s bedpost. He was a first class player and she wanted no part of that.

But ten years later she returns to her hometown to care for her sick father and who does she run into, but delicious Luke Long? Too bad he’s the same guy he was back then and Elise is still not interested.

Until she is.

One round of beer leads to a round of pool, some shots and a night of white hot sex.

Luke is changed somehow, that night together meant something to him and now he wants more. But Elise looks at him and sees that he’s still not the guy to take a chance on, so they enter a friends with benefits arrangement which makes up the majority of Dirty.

I enjoyed the story for what it was, a fun, steamy, uncomplicated romance. That was the good part, watching Luke come to terms with his own feelings and Elise coming into hers. What I didn’t enjoy was the fact that these characters seemed really immature for their ages and that made it hard for me to care about them as much as I should. The whole secret thing really took away from the story to me because it’s demeaning and it serves no purpose. That’s how you know these people are immature, because adults don’t/shouldn’t let their friends dictate their relationships.

Maybe that’s why I’m so hard on this book and R.L. Kenderson, this was a good story and throw in the bit of diversity, I had high hopes. I liked Dirty quite a bit, but I didn’t love it.

Elise grabbed the triangle and began racking the balls, putting them in their proper place on the pool table. She grabbed the one ball and put it at the apex when Rachel walked over and leaned against the side of the pool table.

“Are you having a good time?” her friend asked.

“Yeah. I’m glad you asked me to come. I totally kicked Luke’s ass.”

Rachel smiled, but it was hesitant.

Elise stopped what she was doing. “What’s wrong?”

Rachel stood up straight. “I think we’re going to take off. I don’t feel well. Shelly and Joe are leaving, too. Shelly’s tired, and she wants to go home and put her swollen feet up.”

“Are you okay?”

“Yeah,” Rachel said, putting her hand over her stomach. “I think it was something I ate.”

Elise narrowed her eyes and studied her friend. “Liar. You just want to go home and get laid.”

Rachel blushed. “Guilty. I haven’t seen Sean for a week.” She stuck her bottom lip out.

Elise laughed. “I understand. Go have fun with your man.”

Rachel looked around the room, as if she was calculating the situation.

“What is it?” Elise asked.

“Nothing.”

“Rachel, just spit it out. What’s wrong?”

“I don’t want to leave you here with Luke.”

Elise shook her head. “I’ll be fine. We’re having fun. I’m not ready to go home yet.”

Her friend looked over her shoulder to where Luke stood at the bar, talking to Sean. They seemed to be having a serious conversation. She looked back at Elise. “I just want you to be careful.”

Elise tilted her head. “How do you mean?”

“It’s been over six months since you and Jason broke up. I don’t want to see you get hurt again.”

Elise shook her head in confusion. “I still don’t get it. Why would I get hurt?”

Rachel sighed. “Just don’t sleep with Luke, okay? He’s grown up quite a bit, but he’s still Luke. I’ve never seen him get serious with anyone, and I don’t want your heart to get broken.”

Elise threw her head back and laughed. “We are just playing pool. Nothing’s going to happen.”

Rachel didn’t laugh. “I know you haven’t slept with anyone since before you and Jason broke up.” She leaned in close and lowered her voice. “And I know how horny you get when you’ve been drinking. I also know that sex with Jason was mediocre, at best, so you’re probably really jonesing for sex now. And let’s face it; we both know that Luke probably fucks like a rock star.”

Elise laughed again and shook her head. “Trust me, Rach, you have nothing to worry about. I am never going to sleep with Luke Long.”

********

The next morning, Elise woke, flat on her stomach, disoriented, with a piercing headache that only came from a hangover. While she’d been living with her parents for about a month now, she’d often still wake up in confusion from forgetting where she was at first. It’d sometimes take her a minute to realize she wasn’t in her house in Denver anymore. She opened one eye to check the time, but the alarm clock wasn’t hers or the one in her parents’ guest room.

She sat up, jarring her already-sore head, and let out a moan. Thankfully, dark shades were covering the windows, casting the room in shadows and hiding the evil sun.

What happened last night? Her memory was fuzzy, and it hurt to think.

She realized she was naked and pulled the sheet up to cover herself as she slowly looked around the room, recognizing nothing. Nothing but the sleeping naked male lying on the bed next to her.

Oh God. No! Panic raced through her body, and memories rose to taunt her.

She’d slept with Luke Long. She’d slept with. Luke. Long.

She whimpered and closed her eyes. She had managed to escape college without screwing the guy, only to have dirty, dirty sex with him last night. And that was only the stuff she could remember.

She was never drinking again.

If Rachel ever found out, she was going to give Elise so much shit—after she quizzed Elise on whether the whole fucks-like-a-rock-star thing was true.

Elise couldn’t recall everything from last night after the rest of their friends had left the restaurant, and Luke and she had decided it would be fun to take a bunch of shots. But, now, she did know that, yes, Luke Long did indeed fuck like a rock star. Her sore vagina could attest to that.

I hate you, alcohol.

Luke shifted beside her, but the arm he had over his eyes remained where it was, and his breathing regulated and deepened again.

She really should get out of there before he woke up, but instead, she found herself staring at his beautiful body. Why does he have to be so gorgeous?

She moved her gaze from his face to down his muscular chest and stomach and noticed a blemish of some kind. She leaned closer to look at the red mark directly above his hip.

Are those teeth marks?

A memory surfaced. She’d bitten him so hard that she bruised him…after she went down on him…again. She dropped her head in her hand. She was such a slut.

She looked again at the wound, and her gaze moved to the thin white sheet that was covering one leg and only part of his penis. God, even flaccid, it was thick and long. She remembered thinking it was perfect. She might have even told him that she wanted to mold his dick, so she could use it on herself when she was alone. She moaned softly with embarrassment.

“Jesus, would you stop thinking? You’re making my hangover ten times worse.”

Elise jumped. “Would you stop scaring me?”

Luke chuckled and moved his arm from his face. His brown eyes glittered with amusement. “Sorry,” he said, but his tone indicated that he wasn’t the least bit remorseful.

And, now, she was regretting not getting the hell out of there right away.
R.L. Kenderson is two best friends writing under one name.

Renae has always loved reading, and in third grade, she wrote her first poem where she learned she might have a knack for this writing thing. Lara remembers sneaking her grandmother’s Harlequin novels when she was probably too young to be reading them, and since then, she knew she wanted to write her own.

When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels. When they discovered their first vampire romance, they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance. After being unable to find certain storylines and characteristics they wanted to read about in the hundreds of books they consumed, they decided to write their own.

One lives in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and the other in the Kansas City area where they’re a sonographer/stay-at-home mom/wife and pharmacist/mother by day, and they’re a sexy author by night. They communicate through phone, email, and whole lot of messaging.
