The second book in the Vigilante Justice series features a dangerous second chance romance…

He loved her…and lost her
Justice is still under attack, but it’s been quiet. At least, until I get a phone call saying a resident needs help. Not just any resident either. The grandmother of the woman who ripped my heart out of my chest over a decade before. One trip up the mountain, and my worst fears—and biggest hopes—are realized. Anabeth’s back and just as captivating as she’d always been. But when she faces off against a Soul Suckers rider, I’ll have to do more than protect her. I’ll have to figure out a way to win her back. Because there’s no way I’ll ever let her go again.

She’s never gotten over him
Fourteen years after leaving Justice for what I thought would be the last time, I’m forced back to say goodbye to the only family I’ve ever known. The town’s as small as ever, and being there is just as painful as I remember. The memories of big hurts and bigger mistakes won’t leave me alone…and neither will my ex. I’m still attracted to Bishop Kennard—even more than I was as a lovesick teenager—but he’s a man now. A tough, brutal man who will stop at nothing to protect me.

Too bad he’s the one who needs protecting…from the things I did that caused me to leave him behind in the first place.

Kristin Harte started off as a chemistry major in college but somehow ended up writing romances featuring ex-military heroes and the women who knock them to their knees…literally and figuratively. She likes drinking in the shade, snuggling under a warm blanket on a cold evening, and researching how to blow things up. Her children know nothing of what she writes, and her husband just hopes he’s not at their Chicago-ish home the day the government shows up to confront Kristin about her Google search history.

When not writing good men doing bad things, Kristin can be found writing paranormal romance as Ellis Leigh or co-writing naughty novellas as London Hale.

Author: L. Wilder
Genre: RomCom

Release Date: February 20, 2018

Grace-

After one too many disappointments in and out of the bedroom, I’d all but given up on men. While I was doubtful that therapy would change anything, I had to try something.

As soon as I walked into Dr. Seth Michaels’ office, temptation set in. With his piercing green eyes and devilish smile, the handsome doctor was every woman’s fantasy, including mine.

He tempted me in ways that I never dreamed possible, but some lines just can’t be crossed. With a newfound libido, I left his office thinking I would never see him again, but fate and a meddling mother had other plans.

Kaci-

Tucker Michaels could bring the heat, striking out anyone who stepped up to the plate, and he was burning up the big leagues.

At least, that’s what I was told.

I had no idea who Tucker Michaels was, and I honestly didn’t care. From the moment I met him, I thought he was an arrogant, smart-mouthed jerk.

I’ll admit he was hot—if you’re into those gorgeous, athletic types, but there was no mistaking the way he looked at me, like I was about to be his next grand slam.

Unfortunately for him, he was about to be the one to strike out. I had no interest in playing games, especially when he was helping my little brother’s baseball team.

… But after a week from hell and one too many drinks, I was starting to see another side of the sexy, charismatic player.

After the devastating loss of my wife and daughter, I did everything in my power to guard my heart, making everyone, including myself, believe I no longer had one. I focused on my work and kept everyone at a distance. It was the only way I could face the day.

I had no time for distractions, but the day Langley, my legal assistant, asked for help with her custody battle there was no way I could refuse. When I was at my worst, she was there to pick up the pieces, making sure I didn’t lose the only thing I had left—my career.

Now, it was my turn to ensure she didn’t lose the one thing she cared about most—her children.

I promised to help, but I had no way of knowing that one promise would turn my entire world upside down. With the help of her two kids, she chiseled away at the walls I’d worked so hard to build, and I found myself wanting the one thing I thought was out of my reach—another chance at love.
EXCERPT FROM HIS PROMISE

I sat in my car and took several deep breaths, trying to collect myself before I headed inside. When I finally walked into the house, I found Beatrice sitting at the kitchen counter. She was still in her little, red flannel pajamas, and her curly hair was down around her face. She had a crayon in one hand and an oatmeal cookie in the other, and as soon as she saw me heading in her direction, she sat up in her chair and smiled. “Hi, Mr. Colton. I’m making you a picture for your refrigerator.”
And just like that, my bad mood started to falter. I walked over to the counter, and when I looked over her shoulder, I saw that she was drawing a picture of man wearing a suit. When I noticed the dark hair, I realized it was a picture of me.
“Looking good, kid.” “It’s you.”
“I see that, but you’re missing my beard.”
“That’s because I don’t like your beard,” she replied innocently.
“You don’t?”
She shook her head as she bit her bottom lip. “It makes you look a little scary. I like you better without it.”
“Scary?” I ran my hand over my chin, tugging at the bristles of my beard. “You really think so?”
“Umm-hmmm. And it makes you look kind of old.”
“Old? Really?” I asked with surprise.
“Yes, sir, but just a little. Not like Santa Claus kind of old.”
Damn. The kid knew how to hit a guy where it hurts. She looked up at me with those dark eyes of hers, and I couldn’t help but smile. “Gee … thanks, kid.”
She studied me for a moment before she asked, “I’m sorry. Did I hurt your feelings?”
“No, Beatrice,” I told her as I opened the refrigerator. “You can’t hurt my feelings, because I don’t have any feelings to hurt.”
Just as I reached for the jug of tea, she laughed. “That’s funny.”
“Why’s that?”
“Everybody has feelings, Mr. Colton.” She stood up and handed me the picture she’d been working on. “Even you.”
I glanced down at the picture and was surprised to see that she’d added my beard. When I looked back over to her, she was walking towards the stairs. “Thanks for the picture, Beatrice.”
She turned back just long enough to say, “Don’t forget to put it on the fridge, so everyone can see it.”
“You got it.”
I walked over to the refrigerator door and as I reached for a magnet, I took a moment to look at my portrait. There was something familiar about the man in the drawing, something that gave me a strange feeling when I looked at it. As I stood there staring at it, I suddenly felt overcome with emotion. After several moments, I realized that the man with big, dark eyes, a thick, bushy beard, and a goofy grin used to be me. It had been so long since I’d seen that side of me that I’d almost forgotten he even existed. I missed it. I missed having a reason to smile, a reason to be truly happy, and I wondered if I would ever have it again. I was lost in my thoughts, when Langley walked up behind me. “It turned out pretty good, don’t you think?”
Trying to collect myself, I cleared my throat before I replied, “The kid’s got talent. She made me look good, and that’s saying something.”
“I think she did a great job with your beard.” She snickered.
“What is it with you two and my beard?”
“I like your beard. It makes you look … distinguished.”
“Um-hmm,” I scoffed.

“Seriously. I like the beard.” As I watched the corners of her mouth curl into a smile, I found myself thinking of the kiss we’d shared the night before. There was this moment, just before our lips touched, where I felt the world stop spinning, and for an ever-so-brief moment, anticipation hung in the air. It was just a moment, a mere blink, but it was so intense I could feel it pulling me towards her. When our lips finally touched, that feeling didn’t dissipate. Instead, it grew stronger as I felt her warm, soft mouth pressed against mine, and when I finally released her from our embrace, I had to fight the urge to reach for her and kiss her all over again. I felt an unexpected connection between us, and I couldn’t help but wonder if she’d felt it, too.

BLOG TOUR ~ Waiting for the Sun by Robin Hill

Title: Waiting for the Sun
Series: Waiting for the Sun #1
Author: Robin Hill
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: January 16, 2018

A QUIRKY RAY OF SUNSHINE BREATHES NEW LIFE INTO A LONELY WIDOWER IN THIS DEBUT NOVEL BY ROBIN HILL.

Be the butterfly, Frankie…

Francesca Valentine would rather swear off chocolate than go on vacation solo, but she made a promise to her late father to come out of her shell and live a little. When her best friend bails on their annual girls’ trip, she vows to do just that, but her plan is foiled when the hotel loses her reservation. Alone and stranded in Austin, Texas during one of the world’s largest music festivals, she’s rescued by a mysterious stranger, and an unexpected friendship blossoms.

Ten years after losing his family in a tragic accident, Darian Fox is finally back on his feet. The onetime rock star turned successful indie label-owner is content with the isolated life he’s created for himself and wants to keep it that way. But when he’s forced to travel to Texas on behalf of his company, he finds it’s hard to be alone in a city overrun with people. He meets the beautiful, magnetic Francesca and discovers alone is the last thing he wants to be.

The unlikely pair form a bond that elevates them from merely existing to living a life less ordinary. But the lines of friendship quickly blur, and when Francesca’s true feelings surface, Darian will have to decide between breaking her heart and breaking the promise he made to the family he lost. With his own heart ruled by guilt, does Francesca even stand a chance?

…Spread your wings and fly.
WAITING FOR THE SUN is part one in a two part duet. Part two, RIDERS ON THE STORM, to follow. Due to mature content, both installments are recommended for readers 18 and up.

Waiting for the Sun was a complicated read for me. I started out bored and then interested and then really interested, but somewhere along the way there was more boredom. The writing was solid and the story, though a cliffhanger, was also good. But I just didn’t feel any connection with either of the main characters.

I really enjoyed the way Robin Hill laid out the surroundings because it gave the story that immersive feel that I crave. What I also enjoyed was the background Darian and Frankie. They were both lonely and in pain from loss and their meeting, totally by chance, felt like one of those moments written in the stars where you knew it was a special moment, even at the time. Throw in a bunch of great music, and Waiting for the Sun is a pretty good read.

This story was unexpected but I’m glad that I took the time to read it…even if it did end in a happy for now ending. You’ll have to wait for book two if you want to know how it all ends…I hope.

“Wow. I loved it. Yep!!! You guys were right about this one. Totally reminiscent of our old school indie feels!! I mean… from the “meet-cute” to the “just hanging out as friends” to the obvious attraction, and the TOTALLY believable push-pull (and all the heartbreaking history behind it). I believed it. Felt every “feel” and especially the “whys” of this emotional journey.” – Maryse, Maryse’s Book Blog

“This is a debut novel, but leaves out no element of a romance; swoony, wit, charm, funny moments and emotional. It tells a chocolate mousse love story: fluffy and delicious on the surface and then three bites in (or fifty pages) you realize how deep and rich it really is.” – Bestselling Author Emma Scott, Forever Right Now

“I laughed. I swooned. I raged. I swooned. And I really liked this book.” – Paige, A is for Alpha B is for Books

REVIEW TOUR ~ Fall from Grace by Michelle Gross

Title: Fall From Grace
Author: Michelle Gross
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 1, 2018

Our first goodbye wasn’t our choice.
Our second was…
What do people say about third chances?
I would never forget the moment I met Noah at six years old,
nor would I forget the way I grew into myself next to him; with him.
I didn’t want to forget the way he kissed me for the first time or the way we were two kids pretending it was okay to do adult things.
What I did want to forget was the reason I walked away… and how he had to let me go.
Loving you had a consequence that was too much to bear.
Now I was an empty shell, half of who I was, who I wanted to be…
And I came back home after four long years and this time, I knew you weren’t going to let me go.
I’m afraid… because remembering why I walked away from our love in the first place was the hardest part of all.
But in order for you to understand my relationship with Noah, I have to start from the beginning… Before our love had a price, before they called our love “puppy love”, before I fell from grace…
I was the happiest when I was with him.
Funny how my feet felt like lead the days I left you, Noah… But now that I was back, they only felt like running.
This is a standalone romance that tells Grace and Noah’s story starting at age six, but don’t let that detour you from reading their story. This is a book meant for adults and deals with mature themes. It’s a story about two kids loving each other and proving that maybe when you meet the one, you just know, even if you’re a kid.

Fall From Grace is a really good story. Noah and Grace were heartbreaking in their love, from discover to loss, they tore me apart. They were young, incredibly young, when they met and began their sexual explorations and though at times it was uncomfortable to witness, it was never gratuitous. This isn’t insta-love, this is ‘we’ve been through hell and back and still want to stay together’ kind of love, but it takes them through a really tough road to get there.

That journey to the end, well it was incredible to read about. Noah was willing to do pretty much whatever it took to become the man Grace needed, which only made it all the more gut wrenching. That kind of pure love, well it’s a heady thing and so powerful, and it was an absolute joy to read. Fall From Grace was a surprising read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Michelle is from a small town in Eastern Kentucky where opossums try to blend in with the cats on the porch and bears are likely to chase your pets—this is very true, it happened with her sister’s dog. Despite the extra needed protection for your pets, she loves the mountains she calls home. She has a man and twin girls who are the light of her life and the reason she’s slightly crazy.
As a kid, she was that cousin, that friend, that sister and daughter, the talker who could spin a tale and make-believe into any little thing so it was no surprise when she found love in reading, and figured all these characters inside her head needed an outlet. They wanted to be heard, so she wrote.
The voices keep growing faster than she gets the time to write.
The stories are never going to end. That’s perfectly okay, though. We never want to stop an adventure.
She writes and loves many different genres so sign up to her mailing list to keep updated on her releases!

COVER REVEAL! ~ Reclaim by Marley Valentine

Title: Reclaim
Series: A Redemption Novel
Author: Marley Valentine
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 29, 2018
Cover Artist: PopKitty Design
Unlike most eighteen year olds, I had the weight of the world on my young shoulders. Desperate to do right by my family, my questionable choices led me to the pits of hell.
Steel bars, three meals a day and no contact with the outside world; regret consumed my every thought. Desperate to pay my penance, forgiveness and a happily ever after wasn’t the plan.
But there she was.
Warm, passionate and unexpected, Emerson Lane was the light at the end of the tunnel. She was all a man like me could want and everything I didn’t deserve.
Redemption wasn’t something I thought I would ever find. Until she found me.
Prologue
The metal rubs roughly against my skin, cutting deep into my wrists, as forceful hands press into the middle of my back, urging me forward.
My feet shuffle around the splattered blood decorating the tiled floor, and my eyes wander over the mess I’m leaving behind.
What have I done?
Stepping outside, I’m welcomed by the flashing strobed of red and blue lights, and the prying eyes of everyone I’ve ever known.
Staring. Questioning. Judging.
I keep my head down, willing myself to wake up from this horrible nightmare. Praying that my irresponsible choices didn’t just take away my whole family. With each step I take the sound of gunshots bouncing off the walls echoes through my mind. Mixed with the memory of Sasha’s blood curdling screams, and I know I’m destined to be haunted by this moment forever.
“Ma’am you’re going to have to move out of the way.” The officer’s stern voice has me looking up. I wondered if I would see her before they took me away. She stands before me, leaning on the police car. Her tears are uncontrollable, and her shoulders shake in grief. If a broken heart had a face, hers would be it.
I step closer, and let all the regret, the confusion and the ultimate betrayal linger between us.
“I’m so sorry.” I say, my voice hoarse and broken.
The second the words leave my mouth, her body stiffens. I know their inadequate. She straightens her back, and wipes her face; ridding herself of her vulnerability.
“Sorry?” She spits out in a question. “I hope you fucking burn in hell.”
My head hangs in defeat, knowing those gates are open wide and ready to welcome me.
I feel his disappointment before I see him. “Sasha, the ambulance is making its way to the hospital. Dakota needs you.” My brother Hendrix stares at me like he’s noticing me for the first time. Wondering what he missed, and how we got here. Shaking his head he leaves me behind, and follows his future.
“Drix,” I call out. His shoulders rise and fall at the sound of my voice. “I know how important she is to you. Take care of them for me, you’ll do a better job than I ever could.”
My request scratches the surface of our unspoken thoughts. Guilt swims in my veins and regret cinches my heart. There isn’t a life around me I haven’t touched and stained, and the pain etched on all their faces is tangible proof.

This is the only thing I’ll be remembered for.

NEW RELEASE!! ~ Playmaker by LP Dover

Title: Playmaker
Series: Breakaway #3
Author: L.P. Dover
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 27, 2018

He knows every play in the book. But she’s calling the shots.

I’m Maddox Ledger, all-star winger and the reason the Charlotte Strikers killed it in the playoffs. Yeah, the tabloids like to call me arrogant. A real hothead. All I see is a guy who plays to win. Wreaking havoc on the ice, breaking a few hearts—that’s all just part of the game. And I’m sure as hell not sitting on the bench.

When my teammate asks me to be in his wedding party, I can’t refuse. Lucky for me, the bridesmaid I’m paired with is the definition of eye candy, but she’s so much more than that. Lacey Easton is totally irresistible and she makes me want to be a better man. A glimpse of bare shoulder takes me back to a steamy, two-week Vegas tryst I can’t forget. One I’m eager to repeat.

Suddenly our one-night stand is turning into the sequel. Still, Lacey’s keeping secrets. She doesn’t trust me. And maybe I deserve it. But I know more than she thinks I do and there’s no chance I’m letting her get away—or letting another guy take what is mine. This time, I’m playing for keeps.

NEW RELEASE & REVIEW!! ~ Want You by Stacy Finz

ABOUT:

The smart and sexy Garner brothers have turned Glory Junction into California’s hottest extreme sports town—and a thrilling adventure of the heart is always part of the deal . . .

The savvy CEO behind his family’s outdoor sporting empire, TJ Garner has his choice of women. But the only one he wants is way out of bounds. Deb Bennett has been his brother Win’s on and off girl since they were teenagers. And Deb’s still waiting for Win to quit fooling around and realize she’s The One . . .

Deb carves the ski slopes and rides the rapids like a champion—it’s getting her every day life in order that’s the real challenge. When she turns to Win’s big brother for financial advice, TJ spontaneously offers the hard-working waitress an executive job at Garner Adventure. To Deb’s surprise, the job is a blast—and so is working for TJ. She always knew he was a heartthrob, just like all the Garners, but he’s charming and attentive too. Of course, given the choice between him and Win there’s no contest—or is there? . . .

I’ll admit that as good as the description of Want You sounded, I had my reservations about the whole brothers sharing a girl thing. But pretty early on you, as the reader, get the right end of the stick while TJ and the whole damn town have it all twisted up in their heads.

Deb has been in an on-again off-again relationship with the Garner baby of the family, Win. But it was never some grand love story, it was two friends, two people who shared a lack of ambition…seemingly. But her heart really belonged to the responsible older brother, TJ. It is this tie, this bond, that is the jumping off point for Want You.

I really liked this story. A lot! Deb and TJ were great and frustrating. They were strong and awkward, a little ridiculous at times and…did I mention frustrating? But despite that, they were a fun time. The story didn’t need to be as long as it was, but for the most part it was nonstop enjoyment.

I loved the small town vibe and the real world problems that existed. This isn’t your fairytale billionaire romance, nope, this is two people with real world problems who manage to find something great while dealing with them. All of them. Stacy Finz could have turned this story into an angst-fest and I am truly grateful that she didn’t.

The tone of the story was perfect for what it was, and the addition of Win’s drama just gave the story more depth. And extra points to Finz for not going the obvious route after Win’s drama played out. I’ve read a few stories by this author and she does small towns and everyday life…beautifully.

I’m looking forward to the next Garner brother’s story!

HAPPY RELEASE DAY ~ The Praetorian by Dawn L. Chiletz (EXCERPT inside!)

Title: The Praetorian: a Reality TV Novel
Author: Dawn L. Chiletz
Genre: Romance Suspense
Release Date: February 23, 2018
Prae·to·ri·an /prēˈtôrēən/- a skilled warrior serving as the personal guard of a Roman Emperor.

Bad-boy rock star Roman Creed keeps his secret locked behind a door.

When Seamore Productions offers to find him a new bodyguard through a reality TV show, Roman reluctantly agrees. He needs some good press and better security. The last thing he expects is a beautiful, curious cop to get under his skin and into his past. Why can’t he stop thinking about her?

Tough-as-nails detective Reed Manning keeps her secret locked away in her mind.

After being suspended from the police force, she considers trying out for the show. She’s supposed to keep her eye on the cash prize, but her potential boss captures her attention. What is he so desperately trying to hide?

When a single decision can change a life-

Never let your guard down.

I glance up at the woman in the reflection behind the bar. She looks tired and broken.

I could get fired over this. I should be. I was wrong. I’ve had perps push my buttons before, but not like him. For the first time in my life, I consider the fact that I don’t deserve to wear a badge. Maybe I’m not cut out for this job after all.

The TV in the corner goes dark. I’d think they lost signal if not for the dramatic music that begins. The TV flips to what looks to be men dressed in full armor going into battle. The clips are brief, interspersed with darkness, but I recognize the music. It’s “Returns the King” from the movie 300. My asshole boyfriend, two asshole boyfriends ago, loved the gladiator type movies. I remember 300 because I drooled over Gerard Butler through the entire thing. He’s hot as fuck.

Something’s different with the music, though. There’s electric guitar dispersed throughout. When the drums finally kick in, you see a line of Roman warriors marching toward a throne made out of silver guitars with a black leather seat. Someone is standing in front of it wearing a black cape, his back turned to them. The cape is being blown around by what seems to be the wind and under it you see tight leather pants and black combat boots. He raises one tattooed, muscular arm and they all stop. He turns and all you see are his crystal blue eyes surrounded by smudged dark eyeshadow and a pierced nose. The camera pans out farther and you see his face. He smirks and the words The Praetorian appear, followed by Coming Soon.

Goosebumps shoot up my arms. I can’t stop staring at the screen even after the baseball game continues.

Movement in the corner of my eye pulls me out of my trance.

“You okay?” the bartender asks. He’s drying a glass with a towel and is trying to hide a smile. I must have looked ridiculous.

“Fine.”

“Don’t tell me that’s the first time you’ve seen those ads. I swear I’ve seen them all like fifty times,” he says with a twinkle in his eyes. He seems excited by them.

“I don’t watch much TV. What’s it for?”

“Seamore Productions is doing a new reality show, and this time they’re looking for a bodyguard for Roman Creed.”

“Roman Creed?” I feel like I should know the name, but I don’t.

His mouth drops open as if I shocked the breath out of him. “You don’t know Roman Creed?”

I lift my eyebrows, purse my lips, and shake my head. “No clue.”

“The lead singer of Core Damage? They won a Grammy for their album Annihilation a few years ago?”

“Oh, yeah. Sure.” I pretend I know it because I want him to drop it. Core Damage sounds vaguely familiar, but I’m more into country music.

“It looks like it’s going to be kickass. It’s by the same company that did The Fabulist. Remember that show?”

“I do.” That’s not a lie. I watched it. I found the lying challenges fascinating.

“Same thing. They’re holding tryouts next week, here in LA. Pete, my bouncer, is going to audition.”

“Sounds cool,” I say and toss thirty bucks on the counter. “That enough?”

“Too much.”

I briefly consider taking some cash back but leave it. It’ll be my last careless purchase until I get my life back in order.

“The winner gets a job and $100,000,” he adds as I make my way to the door.

I stop in my tracks, turning my head back to him. One hundred thousand just made this a little more interesting. Maybe even life-changing. Gazing up at the TV and then back to the bartender, I lean on the bar. “What do I have to do?”

For two years, I’ve towed the line. Stayed out of trouble. Kept my head above water. And have not made even one reckless decision.

But then Snow came to River Canyon on the first day of winter.

Inked, pierced, and unafraid of speaking her mind, and going after what she wants, she made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. Together, I knew we would make a mess.

I just couldn’t keep myself from getting dirty.

When I was seventeen, my older brother Patrick had a momentary lapse of judgment with a girl he couldn’t stand, and as luck would have it, he had gotten the chick pregnant.

The night he was told about the pregnancy, he came home and with his head in his hands, he gave our parents the wonderful news. I walked in on that cheerful little conversation, coming in from a night of partying with my friends. I had looked at him, ghost-white and panicked. Then, I looked at my parents, fuming, and also panicked. The three of them had acted for a time as though they were the only ones being affected by it all, but in truth, it was a defining moment in all of our lives.

For our parents, it was the shock of being handed their Grandparent Card before they felt they were ready. It was the reality that their oldest son, their first baby, was having a baby of his own and embarking on a journey of life that would take him places they weren’t permitted.

For Patrick, it was the rusty—albeit temporary—nail in the coffin that held his relationship with his childhood sweetheart. It was the consequence to trump all others. And, well, I also like to think it was one of the best things to ever happen to him, because I know now that he sees his daughter as anything but a mistake.

For my twin brother Sean, it was the encouragement he needed to continue being the perfect son. It was the pressure to get good grades, keep his head above water, and although he never said it, it stressed the shite out of him. I could see it in the lines that had formed between his brows.

For me? Well …

On that night, after sneaking up to the bedroom I still shared with Sean, all I can remember thinking was, “Well, nothing I do can ever be as disappointing as this. That guy has set the bar, and I will never see myself over it.” And that would have been fine, except that, for me, it wasn’t a warning—it became a dare, and I tested it a little too much. I managed to pass over that bar by the time I was twenty, and I just kept on climbing.

And it wasn’t that I was a bad guy, keep in mind. I just couldn’t seem to help myself. I just found trouble, or maybe it found me. Who the hell knows.

Still, by some miracle, I had never knocked a girl up.

Maybe things would have been better if I had.

And this was what I thought about while we did the cliché bullshite of having a smoke after sex.

“If what becomes too much? Minnie…” I tried to grab her hand, but she veered off toward Brick. “I thought it was just an edible, as in pot.”

“Hello again, leather pants.” Rail appeared at my side. “I was wondering when we were going to meet you again.”

Trigger rolled up on his bike. He was in a black t-shirt that hugged his biceps and chest, and dark jeans and boots. His cut seemed a bit tight, a sign he had been working out a lot.

He didn’t remove his sunglasses, but his stare nearly made me trip as I walked over and took the helmet he handed me.

“You look good,” he muttered. “You’ve been missing for the past week.”

“Just dealing with some stuff.”

“I don’t like it.”

“I know.” I flipped my hair back and pulled the helmet on. “Me either.” I swung my leg over the bike and rested my hands on his hips, and he pulled me so I hugged him. He flicked the engine over and backed us out.

An hour later, we hit a wall of traffic and came to a complete stop. That was when I began to notice the leather cut that wrapped Trigger’s midsection was as smooth as lamb skin. As I moved my sensitive fingertips over it, I felt a ball of warmth grow in my belly.

My thighs flexed as Trigger shifted his weight. I didn’t mean to ball his shirt in my hands, but fuck me, everything felt amazing.

“You okay?” His raspy voice caught me off guard, and I jolted on the seat, and oh-my-God, it was amazing. “Tess?”

“Please stop moving,” was all that shot out of my mouth. He flipped up his visor and turned to look at me. I shook my head and moaned as his ass rubbed my front. My jaw clenched, and I started to grind my teeth.

“Put your visor up.”

Oh, shit, don’t get alpha on me. I may lose it right here on the freeway.

I quickly shoved it up and stared into his confused eyes.

“What are you on?”
“Nothing.” I almost moaned when he moved again.
He stared a beat longer before he snapped his visor down and turned back around.
Ohhh, yes. I wanted to tap his shoulder to get him to do that again, but the traffic started to move.
Sweet, horny Lucifer. I’d broken out in a light layer of sweat, and my thighs burned from the grip on the seat. Three hours on the bike, and its vibrations had built me up to a pleasure-painful level. I’d finish myself off if I weren’t surrounded by the crew.

Thankfully, Trigger signaled we were stopping for a break at the next rest stop. We took the exit and rolled up at the light before the small park.

When Trigger kicked his foot out to stabilize us, I grabbed the side of his leg and begged my body to let go.
His hand landed on mine, and I wanted to cry. His touch, his smell, his everything made my world tilt on its axis. I didn’t know how much longer I could hold on.
I was either going to kill someone or have the most mind-blowing orgasm known to woman in public.
The bike slowed to a stop, and he proceeded to wiggle around then slid the length of his leg across me. I tossed my helmet, and my palms dug deep into the hot leather. I felt like I was balancing on the loose rocks that lined edge of my orgasm. I had never not-wanted to come so badly in my life.
My mind shifted to images of Trigger touching me.
Oh, no.
Oh, yes.
Oh, please.
“That’s one major fuck-me face.” Rail burst my steamy moment.

I glared at him, but it did nothing for my problem. “What?”
“Just makin’ an observation.”
“Observate somewhere else.”

“Yeah, you probably need to finish that off.” He wiggled his fingers and winked.
I closed my eyes and managed to channel my thoughts back to being underneath Trigger. His hands on my skin, his lips on my neck, his…
A shadow crossed my face and blocked my warmth. “What did you take?”
A deep jolt tore through me as my mind decided if it he was real or not.
“Please,” I nearly panted. “Don’t talk.” I rubbed my hands down my pants. The leather was warm and sent goosebumps through me.
“What?”

“I’m not entirely sure, as this is the first time I ever took ecstasy, but I think I took ecstasy.”

He blinked “Where did you get E?”
